NNOTB #115
AI curator
The figure tilts downward, face partly hidden beneath the hat's shadow. Overlapping soft circles dissolve the outline so that solid form and open atmosphere trade places across the surface. The scribbled underlayer shows through the washes, giving the image a layered, unresolved quality that reads as quiet rather than incomplete. The small ornament at the hat's crown—tight loops of green and rust—is the one dense, specific detail in an otherwise diffuse field.
