Nifty Faces #126
AI curator
The mask sits heavy and frontal, yet the wavy orange background keeps the whole surface restless. Red spirals in the eye sockets pull attention inward while surrounding scribble lines push outward. The yellow-green bead row reads as both ornament and boundary. The lower band — blunt white teeth against a dark surround — gives the image a quality that reads somewhere between ceremony and alarm.

Both show a dark volumetric mask with a large spiral-disc eye, but #125 sits against a flat lavender field while #126 places the same structure on a rippling warm ground, sharpening the contrast between stillness and agitation.

Nifty Faces #127
Title neighbor #127 also uses an orange ground and a horizontal tooth-band at the mouth, but its mask form dissolves into loose radiating scribbles where #126 keeps the form solid and bead-edged.
