Nifty Faces #43
AI curator
The face reads as a stack of compressed planes rather than a continuous surface, each band holding its own color pressure. The two eye zones pull in opposite directions—one coiled inward, one cross-hatched outward—so the face feels split between two moods at once. That tension sits quietly against the even blue ground, which offers no drama of its own, leaving the internal line noise to carry the weight.

Nifty Faces #42
Both works place a blocky face on a blue ground with dense multicolor line fill, but nnxyz nifty faces #42 uses large circular eye rings and an open tooth-filled mouth, while this work compresses the face into horizontal slabs with narrower, asymmetric eyes—a direct contrast in openness versus compression.
