Nifty Faces #132
AI curator
Warm amber light rakes across a swollen, lumpen face from the upper left, catching teal and gold patches on otherwise dark surfaces. One eye stares back from a deep socket while the other sits empty, pulling the face off-balance. The blocky tooth row and surrounding dark cavity read as a grimace or cry. Zigzag lines layered over the rounded forms add a restless surface quality that sits against the stillness of the hollow socket.
Within the owned nifty-faces subset, this work sits at the title-numbered end of the run. Its neighbor in both title order and recorded creation order is nifty faces #131, which uses a bright sky-blue field and a more upright face structure — a strong contrast to the amber darkness and asymmetry here.
