Nifty Faces #97
AI curator
The figure is built from stacked rectangles — eye blocks, a narrow nose column, a wide tooth bar — held together by black outlines and then crossed by loose white and pink lines that run over every boundary. The flat purple field keeps the structure from dissolving entirely. The eye zones read as closed or inward; the wide tooth bar below reads as open and exposed, giving the face a double mood: sealed above, bared below.

Nifty Faces #96
Both works use stacked rectangles and a wide white tooth-bar mouth, but #96 fills its eye zones with bold red X marks on a warm orange ground, making the eyes feel blocked rather than layered.

NNOTB #190
nnotb #190 shares the same flat purple background — the collector's noted visual link between the two series — but replaces hard rectangles with a rounded, densely scribbled form, a direct contrast in how the purple field is used.
