In the artist's words
The artist's bios and thirty posts, verbatim and dated, on the board, the burn, the index collection and what art is for.
The artist has never given an interview that the research found, and has said in public that explaining is not the artist's job: "it is not the task of a work to immediately open itself fully to the recipient, nor is it the task of the artist to explain his tools or his process." What exists instead is a public account on X with more than two and a half thousand posts, most of them announcing a drawing with its price, and a handful of bio lines on the sites where the work is sold. The thirty posts below are the ones that say something about the work, the board, the burn, the later collections or what art is for. They are printed verbatim, with three light edits: links and hashtag-only lines are dropped, handles are written out as names, and emoji are removed. Nothing is paraphrased and nothing is added. The line under each post is the gallery's, saying what it bears on.
Each is dated and linked to the original, so it can be read as posted. The posts that announce a single drawing are not here; where one exists for a drawing in the collection, it is printed on that drawing's page, with the price the artist asked. There are 263 of those.
The bios are short and say the same thing in three ways: made to please the eye, flawed on purpose, about the arbitrariness of insignificance. They are the nearest thing to a statement, and the rooms take them as one.
The bios
- Linktree:
born readymade to please the eye flawed imperfect on purpose
- objkt:
born readymade to please the eye, intentionally flawed to show the arbitrariness of insignificance
- Threads:

- TikTok:

- X: the bio is empty; the location reads

Why i love Nifty Ink
Easy & fun entry into the NFT space for artists.
Tool works without problems.
Easy upgrades of the artwork into the mainchain*ETH.
No entry costs to mint the work on the Gnosis Chain.
Nice & active community.
Thanks Austin GriffithWhy the artist works on Nifty Ink.
Okay, now that the "nnxyz abstract" collection is on sale on Rarible. I can finally talk about how I will handle the next "Proof of Support" airdrop
For the first drop, it was important to me to create some value outside of Nifty Ink for all owners as a "small thank you"
The "POS - Proof of Support" piece in the abstract collection.
This applies to every "Nifty Face" held, even from the same edition
Number 1 is the same as the original and all others receive minor changes, making each - nnxyz Nifty Faces PX - unique.
Nifty Faces PX: number 1 is the original, the rest carry small changes.
Today I noticed that I have already created 552 NFTs as nnxyz, actually I wanted to celebrate at the 500 nft limit but I must have missed that
552 works as nnxyz by May 2022.
Now that summer is here & NiftyInk seems to be a DAO now, I'm also giving Nifty Ink a Summer PNG @XCOPYART
I love this no-fuss NFT printer
"no-fuss NFT printer".
If you want to mint a nnxyz chic city cat yourself, now you can
But, since i'm a bit lazy this is for now just a Notion page with the thirdweb embed plugin
Price is 1 MATIC
Chic City Cat Club minted from a Notion page with the thirdweb embed, 1 MATIC.
I decided to burn all the NFTs from the Canvas is Everywhere series.
I believe tezos is a better choice than Ethereum for this kind of artwork & also includes more works than I had already minted
Burning the Canvas is Everywhere series and moving it to Tezos.
i decided it's an 1/1 NFT which can be minted 111 times per NFTdrop
The price will be either 5/10/15 dollars but will definitely increase with each drop
I have other ideas for the mechanics, but I think I'll wait & see how that goes for now
How the index collection is priced and dropped (thread).
If collectors or curators happen to be reading this, collect & curate more art that you don't like, because the artist who isn't what you're looking for today may have evolved into someone tomorrow who opens a whole new world for U
To collectors and curators: collect art you do not like (thread).
The name of the NFTcollection is also fixed:
nnxyz Index CollectionSpeaking of unloved works being lost/perished, I couldn't help but think of artist books, a grossly underrated area
Among other things, of course, I had to think of Andy Warhol 's Index Book
The name, after Warhol's Index Book (thread).
Why no free mint?
I love to give away my work for free, because I want to, but not because I have to.
A prize guarantees me that people will like or want to support my work or at least see some other value in it.
Why no free mint (thread).
The nnxyz index collection is an openly planned never-ending collection published independently on multiple blockchains, always expanded by another work as soon as all nfts from a drop are sold out

The defining statement of the index collection; the handoff's named post.
I want to say thank you to all the nifties that have been given to me over the last few months. I am really happy.
I only noticed this now because I actually go straight to painting on Nifty Ink
"I actually go straight to painting on @NiftyInk".
Nifty Ink was the first NFT platform I came into contact with. On which I minted again and again from the beginning - although that wasn't planned
It's just a very healthy platform technically and humanely thanks Austin Griffith & everyone else
3/5
Nifty Ink was the first NFT platform (thread 3/5).
This is my first NFT Nifty Ink, which was also my first NFT sold. - @OpdahlPeter
Therefore, my first ink will be the last burned
First ink, first sale, and the last to be burned.
Why should an artist disclose the tools he uses?! The tools used serve the artist to shape his creative idea & not the other way around
Since when are the artists the slaves of their tools & have to disclose them, that's just silly @kdeanOn not disclosing tools.

All unsold editions will be burned in the next daysA Nifty Faces drop with the standard notice that unsold editions will be burned.
Just a little reminder that all 400 created nifties Nifty Ink will be gradually burned.
Everything after that is part of a new story
1/2All 400 Nifty Ink works will be gradually burned.
@flexart7 Nifty Ink I can only send you new ones, all unsold editions of the first 500 inks have been burned
Where should they be sent?
Later confirmation: unsold editions of the first 500 inks were burned (a reply).
The ScreenSwindler series is not about putting people down, it's about sick systems that sh*t on all participants & it doesn't matter whether this is done by intention or not - sick systems divide&value work only on the basis of vanity metrics - think about it
What ScreenSwindler is about.
now that the ScreenSwindler series is finished, a question arise, what makes it different? Is it me, is it the work, is it the vibes, is it the taste? just swap me out for your favorite artist & you won't notice any difference, except that your value system is completely human
The question the finished ScreenSwindler series asks.
The best feature of Nifty Ink is the playback of the doodles, if you like Bob Ross, you can look at my over 500 doodles and see how each one was painted & don't forget to watch the other artist too
Playback of the doodles; "my over 500 doodles".
Exactly, it is not the task of a work to immediately open itself fully to the recipient, nor is it the task/duty of the artist to explain his tools or his process
This is silly these days anyway, as we live in a time of low-effort tools
Not the artist's task to explain tools or process.
Since new Art-Style/Forms are constantly being invented/created, I would like to introduce what is probably the oldest art form: “The Swindle”
Used by everyone against themselves & others, there are only a few true Swindlers who cultivate their culture in secret & concealment
"The Swindle" as the oldest art form.
To counteract the uproar of private/hidden likes, I'm bringing the OpenLike to the community
The OpenLike Graphic is CC0
Just RightClick Save
or
mint the version either on @ourZORA - freeor on @objktcom - 0.01 tez
OpenLike, released CC0 on Zora and objkt.
Now there was actually a small setback because OpenLike was not generated with AI, but is actually a vector graphic created by hand OpenLike
people mentioned to protect OpenLike by @zemotion on @Cara_HQ,but since it is cc0 i don't need it, but thanks
OpenLike is a hand-made vector graphic, not AI.
To all Cringe-eez Doodle holders - you now finally have your doodles back - I have also decided that your drop will remain the only one, no more will be added and no one can mint more - all unminted doodles bound to my address & remain unminted
Cringe-eez Doodles: the one drop stays the only one.

@michaelmicasso @0xLivster I just had to laugh, because I actually prefer using the mouse for pixel work, because I use a gaming mouse where I set the speed of the pointer so high that I hardly have to move my hand - thought I belonged to an endangered species
Pixel work with a fast gaming mouse (a reply).
